2021 Sant’Orsola Pinot Grigio delle Venezie
2021 Sant’Orsola Pinot Grigio delle Venezie is a single varietal Pinot Grigio wine made in Italy, specifically in the Veneto area (delle Venezie), in the north of the country. Produced by the Sant’Orsola winery.
A wine that is light and fresh in its tasting, with a medium body, with a lot of freshness in its passage through the mouth, with a dry touch at the beginning and a correct, present and balanced acidity.
In view we find a straw yellow color, very clean, bright, almost crystalline, with a point of carbon that leaves sensations of ‘needle wine’. Greenish reflections in the movement of the glass.
The nose is low intensity, with the presence of a lot of fruit, such as white (green apples), citrus (hints of lemon), stone (hints of peach), which are intensified after aerating the glass when joined by herbaceous aromas, with hints of aromatic herbs, hints of arugula.
The palate has a soft attack, slightly dry as I mentioned before, with good acidity that gives it a certain liveliness on the palate. Fresh, with good persistence and a medium finish.
We are in front of a good wine that allows to enjoy a wine without too much complexity, fresh and without major pretensions.
A wine that after tasting deserves the qualification of Good, reaching a score of 88 points.
