2022 Buleza Rosado
2022 Buleza Rosado is a rosé wine produced by Bodegas Heredad Morán & López under the D.O. Bierzo as a single varietal Mencía. It is really a rosé wine, with the freshness of a white wine and the structure of a red.
Elaborated by bleeding, they take advantage of the first must to get the best typicity of the varietal, with a very good extraction. It is therefore not surprising that in the recent Pisado awards (wines made in the province of León), it won the award for best rosé wine competing with the wines of the D.O. León, made with Prieto Picudo, and being one of the areas of Spain where rosé and claret wines are most typical.
A beautiful raspberry color, intense (great extraction work). A tiny hint of needle that then on the palate helps to make it vibrant. A well-defined middle layer.
Nose of great intensity, tremendously sweet, lots of red fruit (strawberries, raspberries), floral notes of violets, hints of jelly beans, slight hints of sour candy. Balsamic touches. Complex and balanced.
The attack on the palate is very fresh, with a very good acidity on the palate. Ample, good volume, very good structure. Vibrant and sparkling on the palate. Great persistence and a very long finish for a rosé wine.
Undoubtedly a very tasty rosé wine, different from the soft ones currently in fashion. For this reason, after its tasting, it is a wine that deserves the qualification of Excellent, reaching a score of 92 points.
