Vega Sicilia Claims The Golden Vines Robb Report Golden Vines World’s Best Fine Wine Producer Award
This year, The Golden Vines presented its most sophisticated survey to date through the creation of the new Golden Vines Academy, a body composed exclusively of the world’s leading fine wine and spirits professionals. And in this edition, Vega Sicilia has been named the World’s Best Fine Wine Producer for 2025.
Academy membership required exceptional credentials and extensive industry experience, setting a significantly higher standard for voting eligibility than in previous years. The 2025 voter panel, comprising 830 experts, represented more than 100 countries and possessed an average of over 18 years of professional experience. Among them were 41 Masters of Wine, 31 Master Sommeliers, more than 58 Advanced Sommeliers, 240 WSET Diploma holders (DipWSET), and 37 ASI Diploma holders. The survey results were independently verified by Deloitte LLP in accordance with the official voting rules published on the Liquid Icons website, ensuring the highest levels of credibility and transparency.
Created in 2021 to support, honor, and celebrate the very best in the world of fine wine and exceptional spirits, The Golden Vines — often referred to as “the Oscars of fine wine” — offers an exceptional weekend of wine and spirits tastings, masterclasses, and Michelin-starred gastronomic experiences.
Gastronomy, awards ceremonies, a live auction in collaboration with Sotheby’s to raise funds for the Gérard Basset Foundation, spectacular performances by world-class artists, and unique experiences at the most breathtaking venues.
