El Linze Chardonnay Viognier Barrica

El Linze Chardonnay Viognier Barrica wine produced by bodegas Cesar Lucendo A. is a blend made with two varietals as its name indicates, Chardonnay and Viognier. It is fermented in oak barrels, seeking to provide absolute complexity. Made in Castilla La Mancha.

It comes from a manual harvest in boxes, from organic grapes from 2 different plots. Each of the varieties is vinified separately. It has a pre-fermentative cold maceration and subsequent fermentation in barrels. It is then aged on the lees for 9 months and finally remains at least 9 months in the bottle before being released to the market.

In the visual phase we find a wine with an intense yellow color and golden reflections. It has good density and is very clean and bright.

In the taste phase we find a high intensity, which is also complex and elegant. The profile aromas of bakery, stewed white fruit, citrus and hay stand out.

On the palate, the powerful and fresh entry is outstanding. Its passage through the mouth is tasty and extremely pleasant. The acidity it retains combines ideally with the wine’s body and finishes with a markedly fruity aftertaste. It has a very long finish that will delight any discerning palate.

Pairing: It can work especially well with blue cheeses, with an appetizer of dried fruits, or even a botillo from Leon.

It is advisable to serve between 7 and 10º, in a wide glass and allowing it to oxygenate for at least ten minutes.

A wine that after tasting deserves the rating of Very Good, reaching a score of 90 points.
