In Good Taste Launches Co-Packing 187ml Service for Wineries
In Good Taste, a wine company founded in 2020 with the goal of making wine more accessible, is excited to announce its new co-packing service available to wineries and wine producers, nation-wide. This service offers to bottle wine in the company’s patented mini bottles, allowing wine brands the opportunity to offer their consumers a smaller format “taste” before committing to full-sized bottles.
The “try before you buy” model has never been more appealing to the wine consumers of today, and In Good Taste is proud to provide this new service.
In 2021, the company completed a 65,000 square-foot, FDA approved packaging facility and warehouse in Graton, CA, which includes a custom-built bottling line. The facility provides a variety of multi-packing options, rework capabilities, a temperature-controlled storage area for case goods, and a large shipping area with multiple loading docks.
With a team of production enologists, compliance experts, procurement specialists, and logistics coordinators, the firm supports its clients by solving challenging packaging issues such as formula submissions, COLA compliance, material procurement, and logistics. The company’s winemaking team focuses on overcoming roadblocks and sticking points to ensure that clients have a frictionless co-packing experience.
By creating a vertically integrated solution for its clients, In Good Taste eliminates headaches associated with bottling, packaging, storage, and transportation. Its clients save time and money without sacrificing quality.
Has recently been awarded the 2023 Clear Choice Award by the Glass Packaging Institute (GPI) for its California Wine Mixer mini wine flight. The high-quality wine bottle manufactured for In Good Taste by Ardagh Glass Packaging – North America won GPI’s Clear Choice Award in the Sustainability category in recognition of their choice to have the bottle produced in the U.S. instead of importing their glass from overseas.
Co-founder Joe Welch designed the In Good Taste wine bottle to create brand differentiation and premium appeal for the single-serve wine market. The patented 187ml glass wine bottle celebrates In Good Taste’s commitment to aesthetics and quality to showcase the high-quality wine they offer.
“Ardagh Glass Packaging congratulates In Good Taste for winning Clear Choice Awards” said John T Shaddox, Chief Commercial Officer for Ardagh Glass Packaging – North America. “We enjoy collaborating with award-winning brands to create glass packaging that meets their sustainability commitments while raising the standard for high-quality, innovative glass containers that preserve the products we all know and trust.”
Since 1989, the Clear Choice Awards has honored consumer product goods (CPG) manufacturers who find unique ways to use glass packaging to tell the story of brands, create glass packaging designs that stand out on the shelf, and demonstrate novel glass packaging looks. The Clear Choice Awards are sponsored by the Glass Packaging Institute, the trade association representing the North American glass container manufacturers.
