2017 Satyr Crama La Salina
2017 Satyr Crama La Salina is a white wine produced in the area of Transylvania, Romania. The winery that produces it is Crama La Salina. A very interesting wine within the white wine profiles to which we are accustomed, as it leaves different points that make it a different wine.
First of all, we are before a semi-sweet wine, made with the Muscat Ottonel varietal, with differences from the usual Moscatel of our country (although it is from the same family). A late harvest favors its elaboration. For many it is considered as a ‘dessert wine’, but it is really a wine to be paired with more dishes.
The color in the glass is straw-golden yellow, bright and clean, with citrus and golden reflections.
Complex nose, of quite high intensity. Fruity aromas, hints of maturity, infused aromas, some dried fruit aromas when aerated in the glass, herbaceous aromas. Very soft minerality.
The attack on the palate is soft, delicate, with a good presence of fruit, with good ‘clash’ between sweetness and acidity that leaves a vibrant passage through the palate. Silky, slightly unctuous without being cloying at any time. Good volume on the palate with very good persistence and a fairly long finish.
A really different wine, very special that, after tasting, deserves the rating of Very Good, reaching a score of 91 points.
