Located in Dogliani, in the heart of the Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Relais Poderi Luigi Einaudi was born from a late-18th-century residence, the historic summer one of the Einaudi family. Today, it has been transformed into a charming inn, deeply rooted in the legacy of the historic winery founded by Luigi Einaudi in 1897. Nestled among vineyards and hills, next to the family winery, it retains the identity of a private home where elegance, history, and wine culture define every detail of your stay.

The relais offers intimate and exclusive hospitality: eight double rooms and two suites furnished with original pieces from the Einaudi family’s historic homes, designed to preserve the charm of a private residence. The Monviso and Noccioli Suites, both 60 square meters, represent the largest offering, while the Lavanda Junior Suite and the Superior and Standard rooms embody the same philosophy of authentic hospitality, featuring original materials, natural light, and sweeping views of the Dogliani hills and the Alpine peaks.

Among the relais’s most distinctive features is the panoramic outdoor pool with its famous bottle shape, overlooking the Langhe wine-growing landscape: a scenic and relaxing space that embodies the direct connection between hospitality and winemaking culture. The “Winter garden” completes the experience for breakfast, with the living room with fireplace, the green spaces, and the opportunity to experience the slow pace of a refined country residence.

The heart of the experience, however, remains the privileged relationship with the Poderi Luigi Einaudi winery, adjacent to the property, where guests can delve into the history of four generations of the family through guided tours, vineyard tours, and tastings of Nebbiolo, Barolo, and the maison’s main labels. The tour allows to dive into the heart of production, from cultivation to winemaking, transforming your stay into a true immersion in the Langhe wine culture.

From here, the relais also becomes a privileged starting point for exploring the Langhe: Dogliani with its architectural heritage, Barolo, Monforte d’Alba, La Morra, and the great itineraries through hills, villages, truffles, and food and wine culture. Your stay thus opens up to a region to be experienced through personalized experiences, outdoor activities, tastings, and itineraries that showcase one of Piedmont’s most iconic destinations.

Relais Poderi Luigi Einaudi embodies a concept of cultured and profoundly local hospitality: not just a simple stay, but a privileged gateway to the world of the Langhe, where family history, wine, and landscape blend together in an authentic and memorable experience.
