2019 Corte alle Mura Chianti is a wine made in Italy, produced by the Corte alle Mura winery, single varietal Sangiovese, under the Chianti appellation. Non Chiati Classic.
With a medium body, it presents tannicity typical of this varietal and wine profile, dry at different points of its tasting and with a clear acidity that helps it leaves good structure and cellaring capacity.
Nose with medium intensity, with presence of fruit, red (cherry, raspberry, strawberry, red fruits) and black (plum, blackberry, cassis, berries). After aerating the glass, hints of oak, toasted wood, vanilla, tobacco and chocolate appear. Complex and certainly balanced.
In the mouth it presents a fairly fresh attack, with a great acidity as I mentioned before, which allows it to age well. Medium tannins, good volume, slight bitterness on the palate. Tasty, medium volume. Good persistence and a medium finish.
A wine that after tasting deserves the rating of Very Good, reaching a score of 88+ points.
A far cry from the great ‘Chiantis‘, this is a very acceptable wine with a very interesting CPR. A gastronomic wine as well as a wine for everyday drinking.
Quite acceptable italian wine, with a good quality/price ratio.
