We are going to discover an elegant wine produced in Segovia by Bodegas Finca Cárdaba, in Valtiendas, Segovia. This is a white wine made from Viognier grapes, which is aged for twelve months in barrels with its lees. A modern wine for demanding palates. Let’s discover it.

In the visual phase we find a wine with an intense yellow color and very bright golden reflections. It maintains some greenish tones, indicating that it is still young.

The nose is a high intensity wine, which combines hints of white fruit, with a background of summer stone fruit and floral notes. It is pleasant and fresh, requiring at least ten minutes open to show its full potential.

On the palate it has a fresh and powerful entry, giving way to an unctuous passage through the tongue. The aftertaste is dominated by notes of stone fruit, together with subtle hints of butter and vanilla. The ideal balance between structure, acidity and alcohol content is relevant. The aftertaste is long and dominated by aging notes.

It works especially well with medium sheep cheese pairings, as well as with baked white fish or rabbit stews.

A wine that after tasting deserves the rating of Excellent, reaching a score of 92 points.
