2020 Laurent Brotte Grand Vallon Grand Réserve Blanc Châteauneuf-du-Pape
2020 Laurent Brotte Grand Vallon Grand Réserve Blanc Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a white wine produced by the Laurent Brotte winery in the Rhône Valley in France, under the AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
A wine with 13,5% vol. with a very interesting coupage as it is made with 85% Grenache Blanc, 12% Roussanne and 3% Bourboulenc.
With a slightly dry touch, it is different from other white wines from this area that use other varietals in their production, which makes the tasting of this wine really interesting.
It has a straw yellow colour, slightly golden, bright and clean, with a medium layer. Lemon-coloured reflections in movement.
Nose with good intensity with a lot of fruity aromas, with hints of white fruit such as pears, citrus touches, contributions to stone fruit such as peaches. When the glass is aired, floral aromas appear. Hints of dried fruit.
Very fresh attack on the palate, with a lively acidity on the palate, where the fruit reappears as in the nose. Slightly dry on the palate due to the presence of dried fruits. Very good structure which gives it a very good ageing capacity. Great persistence and a fairly long finish.
A wine that after its tasting deserves the qualification of Excellent, reaching a score of 92 points.
