A guided, room-by-room journey blends storytelling, set design, and wine tasting into a one-of-a-kind Napa Valley experience; Opening Friday, June 26
Stags’ Leap Winery today unveils “Leap of Legend,” a new immersive, sensory experience running June 26-August 22, 2026 that brings the Napa Valley estate’s legendary past to life through a cinematic blend of set design, sound, and storytelling. Developed in collaboration with ThemeDream Productions, this limited engagement experience invites guests to move beyond the traditional tour and tasting format and into a fully realized, story-driven journey rooted in the winery’s history and mythology.
“Today’s guests are looking for experiences that foster shared connection and convey meaningful stories, so we wanted to design and create an experience that people can actually step into and interact with together,” said Stags’ Leap Hospitality Manager Jim Foster. “Leap of Legend does just that – it’s not about presenting history as something static, but instead allows our guests to explore, discover, and connect with the resilience and imagination that have shaped this property over time.”
“Leap of Legend” unfolds as a guided, walk-through of four distinct environments, each designed to trace the arc of the property’s past, from the mythical stag’s fateful leap to the tensions of Prohibition-era survival and the reinvention that followed. Each room consists of a series of interactive elements that allow visitors to search, assemble, and interpret what they encounter and ultimately reveal more of the winery’s story. A curated tasting follows the experience, offering guests a moment to pause and savor the wines that continue to define Stags’ Leap.
“Leap of Legend” opens Friday, June 26 and runs for a limited time through Saturday, August 22. The 90-minute experience is offered Wednesday through Saturday at 10:30 AM by appointment, with group sizes limited to four to six guests. Tickets are $95 per person ($75 for club members).
