Good morning readers, we continue today with the articles to discover the wines of the «Vallegarcia» estate. In this case we are going to know the 2020 Petit Hipperia, a curious wine that changes its label with each vintage, allowing different artists to capture the essence of each new wine.

It has a blend of French varieties formed by: Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Visual phase: this wine has a bright ruby color and a cherry-colored rim. It has a high layer and very good density. It has an intense tear, which is magnified by the brilliance it keeps.

Olfactory phase: from the moment the bottle is opened, this reference delights the tasters at the table with fragrant notes of red fruit, which do not wait to be served in the glass.

After ten minutes of oxygenation, the wine was tasted in the glass and the aforementioned notes of red fruit, intermingled with vanilla, toast and hints of scrubland, were confirmed.

Tasting phase: it has a powerful, tasty and very expressive entry. It has a lot of structure and a pleasant freshness. The retronasal highlights notes of blackberry and blueberry, as well as subtle wood. It has a medium and very elegant aftertaste.

It is an ideal wine to accompany fatty dishes or dishes with a lot of collagen. It can work very well with Iberian sausage, a pan of scrambled eggs with ham, or even a Cordovan-style oxtail.
