2020 Gable & Grace Shiraz Malbec

2020 Gable & Grace Shiraz Malbec is a red wine blend of Shiraz and Malbec made in South Africa in the Western Cape area. Winemaker: Gable & Grace.

A wine that in a still glass leaves a ruby color of medium intensity, medium layer, bright and clean with light garnet reflections in movement.

On the nose it has a medium to high intensity at times, with the presence of red fruit such as cherries and raspberries and hints of black fruit such as plums and blackberries, accompanied by hints of aging in barrels that appear after aerating the glass, with the appearance of aromas of chocolate, vanilla, hints of wood.

A wine that presents a soft attack, not exempt of freshness, with a medium structure that does not anticipate that it can have much aging capacity. It has very latent touches of acidity at times. Medium body, medium volume, correct persistence and medium finish.

By combining both red varietals, it does give the sensation of a wine different from other reds, but perhaps it sins a little of that, of not marking a style that allows a better comparison with other wines.

Not too complex, it is a wine that after tasting deserves the qualification of Good, reaching a score of 87 points.
