2019 Más de Leda Tempranillo Organic Wine

2019 Más de Leda Tempranillo Organic Wine is a single varietal Tempranillo wine produced by Bodega Leda in the Duero Valley area and is under the IGP VT of Castilla y León. A wine with organic certification from vineyards of different plots and terroirs (average age of the vineyard of 60 years) which gives it a very interesting complexity. We already brought you the tasting of the 2018 vintage. Well, we liked this 2019 even more.

An elaboration with an aging of 15 months in French and American oak barrels (80% -20%), which helps to give it many nuances in the tasting that are evolving.

Great character, powerful (15% Vol.), elegant in tasting, very gastronomic.

In its tasting, in view leaves us a very typical cherry color of Tempranillo, very covered, intense, bright and clean, with violet and bluish reflections, great tear, dense, slow, that moves throughout the glass.

High intensity on the nose, complex, with a lot of fruit presence despite the 15 months in barrels. Red fruit, quite ripe, even a bit liquorice. Some distant hints of black fruit. Hints of ageing with balsamic, smoky, tobacco, toasted wood, mineral and earthy notes. More complex than the last vintage but with great aromatic balance.

Powerful attack on the palate, full of character, great structure helped by an ideal acidity. Elegant, fleshy, tasty and full-bodied. Lots of red fruit, ripe as in the nose, ample passage without perceiving the degree of alcohol at any time. Great persistence and a really long finish.

A fine wine that undoubtedly deserves an appropriate pairing.

This vintage has pleased us more than the previous one as we mentioned before, which is why it deserves the rating of Excellent, reaching a score of 92+ points.
