2019 Domaine de Vacheron Sancerre Blanc Les Romains
2019 Domaine de Vacheron Sancerre Blanc Les Romains is a single varietal Sauvignon Blanc wine made in France, in the area of Sancerre, a white wine from the Loire area. Produced by the winery Domaine Vacheron.
A vinification that leaves us a fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks with a subsequent passage of 12 months of aging in old French oak barrels. Bottled unclarified and unfiltered.
A really expressive wine in all its tasting, where the silex soils of the area are very well reflected in the minerality of the wine, with saline touches, an enveloping palate and great persistence.
In view leaves us a very bright yellow color, clean, with greenish reflections in movement of the glass.
Nose of fairly high intensity for a white wine, with hints of lots of fruit, citrus, herbal contributions, mineral touches of silex.
Incredibly fresh attack on the palate, with very good acidity, very good structure, with volume and body on the palate, very sharp on the palate, vertical, with a salty background. Great persistence and a really long finish.
A wine that after its tasting deserves the qualification of Excellent, reaching a score of 94 points.
