2018 Masi Brolo di Campofiorin Oro

2018 Masi Brolo di Campofiorin Oro is a red wine produced under the IGT Rosso Veronese, Verona, the Veneto area in northern Italy, made with the Corvina varietal by the Masi Agricola winery, which has been making this wine since 1995 when it was first launched to celebrate its 25th birthday.

A wine that in view, in a still glass, leaves us with a very intense ruby color, covered, deep, bright and clean. Quite high layer.

On the nose it is a wine with great intensity, fragrant, with lots of fruit, hints of ripe berries, jammy notes, with light spicy notes, highlighting the aromas of vanilla. Hints of cocoa.

Fresh but powerful attack, with a velvety passage, with plenty of body and volume on the palate. The fruit returns with a very good acidity that gives it very good structure and cellaring capacity. Vanilla and cocoa reappear as in the nose. Very good persistence and a fairly long finish.

Very interesting wine especially to learn more about the wines made with this varietal, the Corvina.

A wine that after tasting deserves a rating of Very Good, reaching 91 points.

It’s a wine with very good quality/price ratio
